Braver Angels of Georgia is working in our local communities by holding workshops, debates and public presentations designed to bridge the political divide we experience in our country. These events allow conservatives and liberals to get past destructive stereotypes so we can have civil conversations about real issues that lead to productive problem-solving.
Our mission is to introduce citizens to the Braver Angels process of civil discourse through both in-person and zoom-based:
As with all Braver Angels leadership positions, Georgia has two State Coordinators: one conservative (red) and one liberal (blue). The State Coordinators lead the planning team and work to interest folks in starting new alliances. We speak at various kinds of organizations about Braver Angels and keep up with our members throughout the state of Georgia.

Atlanta Alliance Leadership
On January 1, 2026, the Metro Atlanta Alliance and the Georgia State Braver Angels will be led separately. We are excited to bring new people into leadership roles. Barbara Brown (red) and Steve Bigler (blue) will be co-chairs of the Metro Atlanta Alliance . We hope that the state co-coordinators will be able to spend time and energy encouraging the starting of new alliances in other parts of Georgia as well as sponsoring state-wide events. The Alliance co-chairs will be responsible for in-person meals and any other events they decide to host. ALL OF THIS WILL TAKE NEW VOLUNTEER HELPERS. Contacts:
