Braver Angels of Georgia is working in our local communities to support courageous citizenship. We hold workshops, debates and public presentations designed to bridge the political divide we experience in our country. These events allow conservatives and liberals to get past destructive stereotypes so we can have civil conversations about real issues that lead to productive problem-solving.
Our mission is to introduce citizens to the Braver Angels process of civil discourse through both in-person and zoom-based:
As with all Braver Angels leadership positions, Georgia has two State Coordinators: one conservative (red) and one liberal (blue). The State Coordinators lead the planning team and work to interest folks in starting new alliances. We speak at various kinds of organizations about Braver Angels and keep up with our members throughout the state of Georgia.

Atlanta Alliance Leadership
The Atlanta Alliance focuses on providing Braver Angel events accessible to the metro Atlanta area, for example, a monthly in-person meal at the 57th Fighter Group Restaurant. Barbara Brown (red) and Steve Bigler (blue) are co-chairs of the Atlanta Alliance.
